RMV self service kiosks are now available at select branches. These kiosks allow you to renew your license or request duplicate licenses. You can skip the line and complete your request in about 4 minutes!
Eligible Customers
You may use the self service kiosk if you…
- Do not require an eye test.
- Are under 75 years old.
- Have an existing license or ID (not requesting your first).
- Do not have any outstanding payments due.
Important Kiosk Tips
- Prompts
You will be prompted to answer several questions. Read each one carefully since an incorrect answer may stop the transaction and force you to wait in the regular line. - Accepted Payments
You must pay via credit card or debit card. - Pictures
You will be prompted to take your own photo. Be sure to remove items from your head and face (i.e. hats, glasses, head coverings) and step on the yellow footprints. - Temporary Cards
Upon completion, you will receive a temporary paper card. This is no different than what you would receive if standing in the regular line. The permanent card will be mailed to your legal address.
